For sheriff records, contact the Owyhee County Sheriff's Office records/front counter, 20381 State Highway 78, Murphy, ID 83650, at 208-495-1154. The counter is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For court records, contact the Murphy Court clerk, 20381 State Highway 78, Murphy, ID 83650, at 208-495-2806, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Homedale Court counter is at 130 W Idaho Avenue, Homedale, ID 83628, 208-337-4540. It is closed Tuesdays and uses split public hours on other weekdays, so call before travel.
